Hi, it’s us again!
We hope you’re settling back into uni life. We wanted to share a few quick updates about what’s going on here at the SU.
Community Circles are back!
This initiative support students with shared lived experience in building community and finding their people at Norwich Arts.
This year we will work on delivering community circle events for seven groups: Trans and Non Binary, Pride, Women's, Disabled, Mature, BAME and International.
The first events are casual coffee and cake meet ups taking place across the next two weeks - please grab a free ticket on the SU Website to let us know your allergies so that we
have enough cake!

Why do we celebrate BHM?
Black History Month is important because it gives us an opportunity to recognise, celebrate and learn about the history, achievements and experiences of Black people. It creates space to share stories that have often been overlooked or not fully represented in education and wider society. For many Black people, it is also a time to celebrate our culture, heritage and identity, while reflecting on the contributions Black communities have made and continue to make. It allows younger generations to learn about the people and events that have shaped our history and encourages important conversations around representation, equality and belonging.
(Amber and Alushe, ACS Presidents)
Come along to our Black Students Social today at 5pm in the Bank Plain Canteen. There will also be a talk and Q&A from Danny Keen, who will speak about the Windrush generation and the impact on British culture. Danny is a local artist and former chair of Norfolk Black History Month. Black Students Social
