Safer Taxi Scheme
Your safety is really important to us and so we’ve joined forces with local taxi company Courtesy Taxis to start a Safer Taxi Scheme.
If for any reason you haven’t got enough cash to get home, we’ve got your back. The scheme allows you to get home safely, and not pay your fare at the time of the journey.
How it works
1. Call Courtesy Taxis
You can reach them on 01603 446 644 and book your journey
2. You'll get a text
You’ll receive a text from Courtesy when your taxi has been dispatched, with details of the car and driver.
3. Show your Student ID
At the end of your journey show the taxi driver your Norwich University of the Arts Student ID for the driver to make a note of your student number.
This is really important, as your ID proves you’re a student at the university. Without it, you won’t be able to use the service.
4. We'll contact you to arrange a later payment
Courtesy Taxis will charge NUA Students' Union for the fare, and then at the end of the month we’ll get in touch with you with details of how to pay us back for your journeys that every society needs to follow.
