Playhouse Theatre - St. Georges Street
A small, local theatre with an intriguing selection of acts and performances that are not to be missed.
Their bar and beer garden is also the local go-to for art students, experienced tea-drinkers, hangers-out and general hip young folk. With a brilliant selection of snacks, hot and cold drinks, a brilliant atmosphere and the coolest decorations (go and have a look!) it’s easy to see why so many people hang out there.

Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts - NR4 7TJ
NUA students get FREE access to the general exhibitions here but they also offer a range of specialist exhibitions too. Set in the grounds of the UEA campus, this gallery is the perfect change of scene for people wanting to experience history & culture in a peaceful setting.
