The Alexandra Tavern – 16 Stafford Street
A real olde world pub. The Alex has been going since the 80’s, and with its made-from-scratch proper-job pub food, and reasonably priced selection of local drinks you can’t go wrong. Check it out on the weekend for a real community feel!
Benedicts Restaurant - 9 St Benedict's Street
If you like A La Carte restaurants, this will be a real treat; a contemporary bistro with locally sourced food, a famous chef and two Rosettes - the perfect place for some fine dining.
The Bicycle Shop – 17 St. Benedict’s Street
The Bicycle Shop is a small, but by no means less, café-come-restaurant. Surrounded by creeping plants, paintings, and tiny bird creations they serve up some truly delicious food. We recommend their eggy bread with maple syrup.
They also happen to be a music venue, with an exciting variety of intimate acts performing under the café. They don’t sell bicycles.
Brick Pizza - 39 Market Place
Enjoy an array of traditional wood-fired pizzas here made with locally sourced and Italian ingredients. A cosy, relaxed environment to enjoy a pizza just outside of Norwich Market.
The Cactus Café – 102 Magdalen Street
A cosy, friendly café past Anglia Square. The Cactus Café serves delish food and yummy drinks. They also occasionally have live music. Keep an eye out in Norwich gig listings for what’s going down.
