Winter Market -

On the 1st of December, we are hosting our Student Winter Market at the Forum. This is a chance for our incredibly talented students to showcase and sell their artwork to you and to members of the public, just in time for Christmas. We have over 40 students who are all excited to share their work and hopefully provide some great Christmas shopping opportunities. Some items students will be selling include crochet pieces, ornaments, bookmarks, clothing, jewellery, and much more.

Date: 01/12/25
Time: 11:00 – 18:00
Location: The Forum
Free entry for everyone

Disability History Month -

Disability History Month began last week, and our Part-time Officer Lizzie started off the month with a Disabled Students Social. This was a chance for students to meet others with shared lived experience.

We have one more event planned to celebrate Disability History Month: a cosy colouring and film night. We will be watching the film CODA. This event takes place on the 25th of November from 17:00, and you can sign up via our website.

Find Your Voice -

There are a variety of public meetings open to students over the next month. These meetings are open to all students and provide a great opportunity to make yourself heard and Find Your Voice.

AARC (Academic Affairs & Representation Council) | Wed 26th November | 3pm – 5pm | Location: DS20 (Duke Street)
EDIWC (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Welfare Council) | Wed 3rd December | 2pm – 4pm | Location: SU Society Space (Floor 2, Bank Plain)

If you would like to raise any issues at either of these meetings, you can file a motion on our website.

SU Update –

Some of you may have heard that our amazing Advice and Representation Project Manager, George, is sadly leaving the SU this week. We want to assure you that this will not impact the support available to you. You can still book advice appointments by emailing SU.Advice@norwichuni.ac.uk, and you can send all other enquiries to studentsunion@norwichuni.ac.uk.
